LeeCARES Monthly Meeting, September 15, 2019

LeeCARES met on September 15 at Elm Creek Cafe. After a short business meeting in which were discussed updates on our second repeater, an equipment donation from Travis Co. ARES, protocols in case of emergency to reach the SOC and the Red Cross and other news, we had a conversation with our served agencies, the Lee Co. Office of Emergency Management and the Sheriff’s Office. We discussed ways to serve our community during local events and in case of emergencies and disaster. Thank You Lee County Emergency Coordinator Delynn Peschke, Sheriff Rodney Meyer, and Dispatch Supervisor Cindy Heuermann for coming and showing us ways and giving us opportunities to serve our County. We are looking forward to it!
