LeeCARES Successfully Participates in the Fall American Red Cross Exercise.

LeeCARES successfully participated in the American Red Cross exercise in the afternoon of November 14. The drill requested that stations individually and as a team sent specific, predetermined messages to the Southwest and Rocky Mountain Division via Winlink. The objectives of the exercise were to send accurate messages through the American Red Cross 213 forms. The scenario involved major weather events causing outages and hazardous conditions. Forty-seven states, as well as Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Canada, participated in the exercise, sending over a thousand messages.
