LeeCARES Monthly Meeting, May 15, 2022

After approving the minutes and the treasury report, members shared the new equipment they acquired and the progress of their radio or tower projects. We discussed the progress of preparing the van to be equipped and minor repairs that are needed to blow the AC colder. We announced that the 147.24 repeater was swapped. We announced that our EmComm trailer will be ready on Tuesday and a crew of three will go to pick it up and prepared for a schedule of activities to equip it with desk, radio, masts, etc.  We explored the best ways to communicate with each other to send texts to multiple people and be able to send documents as well. We discussed the schedule for the Summer with many going on vacation and a possible SET (Simulated Emergency Test) in October with Williamson County ARES.
