Lee County ARES receives donation from Chief Deputy Crockett

Lee County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (LeeCARES) is honored to have received on July 19, 2020 a donation of radio equipment from the Lee County Chief Deputy Sheriff James Crockett and his family. The radios, power supplies and accessories belonged to his later father in law, Jimmy Ray Headrick W5JRH. This donation further enhances our capabilities to better serve Lee County. We appreciate the support over the months of Chief Deputy Crockett, who is also a Lee Co ARES active member. We are also very thankful to Sheriff Rodney Meyer and his Office for all their encouragement as we grow to assist as a back-up communication asset.
