Lee County ARES Monthly Meeting June 2, 2024

Lee Co ARES met at the EOC is a special meeting for June. We looked at a new go-kit built by a member and at other equipment such as new radios, antenna analyzer,  solution for mobile car units bought by members. We tested radio as we have changed the previous day antennas on top of the Sheriff’s Office/EOC as one was bent by a recent storm, and we have improved the design by switching antennas around. We talked about maintenance project for the trailer, and the back-up solar panels at the repeater’s site, whose legs to the panels have shifted during the recent rains. We also discussed possible solution for a repeater in the EmComm trailer.
