Lee County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (Lee CARES) is actively working to bring amateur radio back-up communications to Lee County first responders, served agencies and our community. Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment, with their local ARES leadership, for communications skills for the public when disaster strikes. Simply put “When Comms Go Down, We Step Up“.
