LeeCARES Monthly Meeting, November 24, 2019

LeeCARES met on November 24, 2019 at the house of Lee County ARES member Jeff Bullard. After a wonderful meal, we held a business meeting in which we discussed amendment of our bylaws, LeeCARES new bank account, the GETS/WPS program, our website, WC-ARES Winter Field Day at the Jim Hogg Park in Georgetown on January 25 and 26, that we will attend as a LeeCARES training day. We also decided not to meet in December and resume monthly meetings on the third Sunday in January at Elm Creek Cafe. After the business meeting we toured Jeff’s property and learned about emergency preparedness. Thank You Jeff for being such a graceful host and for demonstrating us how to make our homes ready for any possible event!
