Lee County ARES and Williamson County ARES Joined Forces for Winter Field Day 2025 in Lee County!
Lee County ARES and Williamson County ARES joined forces in Lee County at the Giddings VFD Firemen’s Park for Winter Field Day! Each ARES deployed their EmComm trailers and a portable tent. We experimented new techniques, tested new equipment, and had fun! Our theme was that Lee County was in a disaster and needed resources, therefore requesting Williamson County to assist. We offer our greatest gratitude to the Giddings Volunteer Fire Department for hosting us. Two local papers came and covered the story. Click on the link below to hear all about it!
