Lee County ARES Monthly Meeting, October 15, 2023

After a short meeting, Lee Co. ARES members discussed antenna and other personal shack items that could also be used at the EOC or for public service. Changes to the van were discussed. Winter Field day was discussed. LeeCARES will participate again with WC-ARES to Winter Field Day in a Williamson Co. Park. Officers and volunteers were requested to register. Sites and information for RVs and tents would become available soon. The SOPs were ready for distribution to the membership. The Great Shake Out exercise was announced and members encouraged to participate. The final push for raising the tower was also discussed. The software to keep track of assets and equipment, Tiger Assets, was introduced to the group by the Logistic Chief. It was agree to dedicate one channel for emergency only on both Slack and Signal, Other methods were also taken into consideration.
