Are you ready to make a difference in your community?
Lee County ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) is always looking for new volunteers who are passionate about emergency preparedness, radio communications, and community service. Whether you’re a newbie technician licensed ham radio operator or an old seasoned extra class ham, there’s a place for you in our group.
There are no membership fees to join Lee County ARES — just a commitment to serve and learn.
Want to see what we’re all about? Check our LeeCares Calendar to attend an upcoming training, net, or community activity.
If you’re a licensed operator, check in to our next net! We meet every Monday at 7:00 PM on the 147.220 MHz repeater (Tone 114.8).
We’re happy to answer any questions you have about joining, getting licensed, or volunteering. Just contact us and we’ll be in touch.
Let’s work together to keep Lee County safe and connected — one signal at a time.
