Are you ready to make a difference in your community?

Lee County ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) is always looking for new volunteers who are passionate about emergency preparedness, radio communications, and community service. Whether you’re a newbie technician licensed ham radio operator or an old seasoned extra class ham, there’s a place for you in our group.


 Who Can Join?

  • Licensed amateur radio operators (Technician class or higher)
  • Those studying to get licensed — we’ll help you!
  • Anyone in Lee County, Texas and surrounding areas interested in public service communications
