December Monthly Meeting and Christmas Party

LeeCARES met in McDade for their Monthly Meeting. We had a business meeting discussing achievements and equipment we recently acquired, and we talked about past accomplishment and future challenges. Great discussion was made about alternative way of communicating like GMRS and CB in case of emergency or disaster. According to funding, we plan to spread GMRS repeaters in the County, starting with maybe the Lexington location. We also plan to offer various neighborhood watches and communities who are interested our expertise to install and train on GMRS repeaters if they purchase it. We also discussed different ways of fundraising. After our meeting we enjoyed some Christmas fellowship.
